CWEVT - Personal to Business Budgeting - 3 Part Series

How will your business impact your personal finances? Learn to feel more confident in your personal and business finances! Over 3 sessions, you'll navigate building your personal budget, setting goals, & making a plan to bridge your personal & business financials. PLUS - you'll have a ton of fun! All content is delivered through games, discussion, and laughter.

You must plan to attend all 3 sessions.

  • First Session - Defining your personal finance goals (overview of personal finance and its connection to your small business success; defining your personal/life/business goals so you can prioritize them financially)
  • Second Session- Budgeting – how and why to do it; how to have successful money conversations
  • Third Session- Building your personal finance team: an overview of all of the other aspects of healthy personal finances for small business owners, including taxes, insurance, and more!

When: Tuesdays

  • 10/13: 5:30 - 8:00 PM
  • 10/20: 5:30 - 7:30 PM
  • 10/27: 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Where: Online! A link will be sent to you before the class to login.

Fee: We charge a $5 registration to reserve your seat in the class. Please reach out if this cost is prohibitive for you to attend the class. We have scholarships available.

Class Size: We limit our class sizes to provide an intimate conversation for all of our clients. If the registration is full, please join our waitlist. This allows us to add you if we have a last minute drop out or if we run the class again.

Instructor: Christine McGowan, Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund

Christine McGowan grew up working in her family’s business, Dorsey Millwork, Inc., a distributor for Andersen Corporation, a major manufacturer of wood window and door products. Dorsey Millwork sold to lumber yards, building supply stores and other home construction retailers throughout New England. Today, she owns Lamoille Valley Painters, a custom interior/exterior painting company that serves builders, architects and homeowners in the Stowe area. When not an entrepreneur, Christine works for the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund as the Forest Products Program Director.
