Principal/Founder
The Castle Group, Inc.

SandyLish.JPG Sandy Lish, along with co-founder Wendy Spivak, created The Castle Group to uniquely offer both public relations and events management. In addition to working on operational and business development strategies, Sandy is responsible for strategic management of the agencys public relations division. She has led award-winning programs for local and national brands, such as Fleet Bank, Sallie Mae, Oracle and Stacys Pita Chips. Her commitment to bringing personality, drive, proactive and relational networks into the programs she oversees has helped Castle build a community of devoted clients, employees and friends.

Prior to co-founding Castle, Sandy was public relations VP at a leading Boston advertising agency. Sandy has also created and implemented PR programs as in-house PR counsel for KPMG, Lesley College and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Sandy has been named a Top 10 PR specialist by Women's Business, one of The Boston Business Journals "40 under 40" business leaders, and a finalist for PR News PR People Awards. Under Sandys leadership, The Castle Group has won numerous industry and business awards, and was named one of the 2005 "Best Places to Work" by The Boston Business Journal.

Despite her professional obligations, Sandy remains devoted to several charitable organizations. She serves as mentor and coach to entrepreneurs as a sponsor of CWEs Venture Capital Forum, and has recently joined the Board of Directors. She is a March of Dimes board member and chair of its communications committee, WGBH corporate board member and chair of its Arts and Culture Committee, and board member of Satellife, a nonprofit dedicated to providing medical information to developing nations. Sandy has served as a director of the Public Relations Society of America and volunteers for the Center for Women & Enterprise and Morgan Memorial Goodwill. She was recently elected as an officer of PRGN, a global network of independent public relations firms.
