As a partner in a women-owned business, I have a firsthand understanding of the needs, challenges and opportunities women entrepreneurs face. CWE addresses them on so many levels—it would be hypocritical of me NOT to support CWE’s important mission! By supporting CWE—on the board, with marketing support, at the annual auction, on the Supplier Diversity Council, etc.—I am helping other women start and grow their businesses; for many of these women, entrepreneurship is the only road they can take to economic independence. As a value add, through the many touchpoints CWE offers, I can help my clients make valuable connections and can steer others toward reaching their business goals. Since the first day I became involved with CWE, 12 years ago, I have been blown away by the expertise and commitment of the staff and volunteers. It is rewarding just to breathe the same air as these talented and motivated people!
