Why CWE? During my career I have had the privilege of serving as a board member with a variety of meaningful organizations.  I can say unequivocally that my involvement as a director for the Center for Women & Enterprise has far exceeded my expectations in terms of what I have been able to give and what I have been able to receive.  As an entrepreneur myself, I have an intimate understanding of the nuances associated with running a small business; its challenges and its rewards.  I believe in the “cause” of strengthening small business and I understand the dire need to support women in small business.  CWE knows this cause and engages every possible resource, including its Board, many supporters and friends to ensure successful and sustainable women owned businesses.  I am proud to be a part of that process! What is of equal import, CWE has given me the opportunity to not only “give back” to other women in small business, but to expand a network of progressive, hard working and ardent individuals, both men and women, who all share a common bond; that of empowering individuals who have a dream to be successful in business and in life. Simply - serving on the Board of CWE has added much purpose to my own mission.
