Liz has worked with SCORE counselors and has used CWE Rhode Island's Loan Packaging Services. An up-and-coming knitwear designer, Liz holds both a BFA and an MFA from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

Liz designs cost effective and highly marketable fashion knitwear with manually operated knitting machines. Her work has been seen in magazines such as W., Women's Wear Daily, New Yorker, New York, Bazaar, and Time. In addition, her designs are becoming a favorite among celebritites, including Emma Thompson, Li'l Kim, Gwen Stefani, Kate Capshaw, Claire Danes, and Cameron Diaz.

With the help of CWE and SCORE, Liz received a $65,000 grant from Rhode Island's Slater Center for Design Innovation in September 2000.
