CWE Massachusetts Announces Winner of InnovateHER Local Competition

CWE – Massachusetts is excited to announce Laurin Mills, Founder of the Dinner Daily as the winner of our InnovateHER 2017 Local Competition! Laurin will move into a national pool of winners. From that pool of winners, a group will be selected to compete in the final round of the National Competition. Through InnovateHER, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking to unearth products and services that help impact and empower the lives of women and families. Contestants are required to develop a service or product that has a measurable impact on the lives of women and families, has the potential for commercialization, and fills a need in the marketplace.

Those who are selected to compete in the final round will have a shot to win cash prizes. Prizes totaling $70,000 will be awarded to the three highest-rated contestants:

  • -    11st Place - $40,000
  • -       2nd Place - $20,000
  • -       3rd Place - $10,000

The Dinner Daily solves the frustrating and universal problem families and couples face every day: how to put a healthy dinner on the table every night quickly and affordably. The online service develops complete weeknight meal plans and delivers them to subscribers online, complete with organized grocery lists and links to online coupons, and most plans are customized to what’s on sale at over 10,500 grocery stores in 48 states. Customers simply select their menu preference, family size, and primary grocery store at the time of sign up and then receive each week their meal plans based on specials at their chosen store.
