Connect to Self: Body, Strength, and Dignity (Webinar) - Central MA - Oct 21
Does the pandemic have you feeling knocked off center? Is juggling the at-home work and school schedules of multiple family members wearing you down? Are you struggling to maintain health and fitness when it is hard to justify getting dressed most mornings? Is your sense of self-worth taking a beating because you don't feel like you're doing or being enough? Then join us to learn how to connect to your dignity and rethink your self-care routine! In this workshop, Jessi Kirley of DignityWorks and Andrea Bordenca of the Institute for Generative Leadership will provide you with simple tools to discover your worth so you can build stronger relationships and have more positive influence at work, at home, and in your community. Melody Schoenfeld, health psychology expert, 2019 NSCA Personal Trainer of the Year, and owner of Flawless Fitness, will then offer a nutrition tutorial, including the basic elements of fat loss and the complex relationship between food and emotional wellness. The workshop will end with Melody’s demo of how to use everyday household items to create an at-home workout, complete with instruction on form and ways to scale each movement up and down.
